From Norman, Oklahoma. An accessible van was provided for the family to drive into San Antonio so that Dawson was comfortable and the family at ease. Dawson, 13, older brother Carson, baby brother Gibson, along with mom and dad, Shawn and David. Dawson contracted meningitis at the age of 8 months which went undiagnosed for too long, this resulted in Encephalitis. A lasting brain injury and a rare form of epilepsy known as Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. He is nonverbal and globally delayed. He loves to explore.
